More projects

Ok I think I have the decorating bug :) Here is the mirror transformation that I just did. I love the way it turned out. It was so easy.

$15 goodwill mirror
Before pics make the mirror look a little better than it actually was. It was a gross orangey wood color.
A little primer and silver spray paint. (ps I stole the painting technique from "allthingsthrifty.com"

I glazed it and here are the results for after. Im happy with it!

Little man

The picture is a little blurry but look who is growing right up! Isn't he getting to big. He had his very first ice cream cone today at a church service project and was in serious heaven! He definitely has my sweet tooth. Love this little boy!

Chevron paint

I love doing little projects. I saw a picture on pinterest of the cutest chevron wall and I decided to copy it. It was seriously so easy. It took two hours and 2 dollars of sample paint.
Taping it of took the longest part.

I knew that I only wanted this up for a little while, so I did not us painters caulking (it will leave lines when you paint over it.) So I just used very little paint each coat to avoided bleeding. Because of that i had to do 5 coats of paint but it went pretty fast.

Time out for Women

Last weekend I got to take off to Denver with a bunch of friends. Friday we went to the temple and Ikea. Then we went to the "time out for women" conference. It was fabulous! The hole weekend was so fun. I loved hanging out with all the girls and the speakers that we got to listen to were seriously amazing. I learn so much. We got no sleep the whole weekend but it was totally worth it.

Baby Eleanor

Im an Auntie again!!
My sister Jen had her 5th child, Eleanor Anne Berry! She is perfect, I love her! She also moved 2 weeks after she had her. I got to go and help her get settled into her new house. We were seriously working nonstop! We got pretty much completely unpacked in about 2 days and the other 2 days we shopped and shopped to decorate the house. Im so glad I got to spend the week there.
