Update...

Hello everyone, I feel like its been a really long time sense I have posted anything. January has been a really busy month. Here's some things we have been doing...

* We have been house hunting . It started out being a lot of fun and I got so exited the first time we went to go look at houses. I found the dream home that I had to buy, and before we were able to put an offer on it someone else got it:( I know I was so sad. Then two weeks later I found an even better home, this time it was just a little over our budget and they wont go down on the price. After that incident I am ready to be done. I cant wait tell we find a house.

*I turned 21 YEAH! I work in the morning that day, then my in laws took me to a movie, then Cody took me to the melting pot.( It is a fondue restaurant.) It was so good! He surprised me with a cruise. Which I was really exited for, but sense he didn't book the tickets. I may have talked him out of it so we cant put that money toward the down payment of a house. I don't know though, I could really use a vacation.

* GYM! We found a great gym to work at. When we moved to CO we decided not to sign up for a gym membership(because Golds Gym robbed us) and just use Cody's parents gym that has a treadmill, a bike and some free weights. Well lets just say Cody probably used it once a month. I uses it about 3 times a week but I got tired of it. We did P90X also, which is a great work out video! Anyways Cody insisted if he was paying for a gym membership it would get him to work out. Its been working so far, he has been faithful on going 4 times a week.

Old to NEW!!

I never thought the day would come where I would get exited to go to a thrift store and rummage through all that junk and find something I love. My mom used to go to the DI and shop and I would sit in the car thinking how gross used stuff is. My, how I have changed, maybe it's because I have to pay for my own stuff now or because I love making something outdated look so cute!

Here is my latest creation. I paid $7 for this worn out table.

After a lot of sanding and painting and more sanding and painting, I got this. I LOVE IT! I was going to sell it but I think I will keep this one.

Funny story: We got to the party and at the front door they asked to see our ID because there was an open bar. I'm not 21 yet! So after I promised I wouldn't drink and they put a HUGE black X on both of my hands, they let me in.

Cody and I celebrated Christmas a day early so we didn't have to travel with all our presents. I got him a 46" TV and PS3. He spoiled me with rock band, a juicer (which I have wanted for a long time) and a really cool watch to wear when I'm working out to tell me my heart rate and calories burned.

Christmas Eve we traveled to Grand Junction to spend Christmas with my family. It was so fun! Here are a few pics from the trip.

For our Christmas present from Cody's parents they took us to Mexico. It was SO FUN. It was great to spend time with everyone. These pics are of a tour we went on. We went on 13 Zip lines through a mexican forest.

ED! I love him, the tour guides thought he was so funny. One of them even called him Santa lol

Poor Boone got really really sick last week. It was so sad. He is kind of like our kid, we are very attached to him. It was about 7:00 at night, Cody was still at work and I was cooking dinner, I realized Boone wasn't in the kitchen with me, that usually means he is up to no good. So I went around the house and tried to find him. The poor puppy was just laying on the floor:( I instantly knew something was wrong with him. He was acting like he was in so much pain, and was trying to throw up. He didn't want me to pick him up. I called the vet and asked what to do. They told me to bring him in. So I rushed him to the animal emergency room. The vet asked me if he had eaten anything other than his dog food recently. So I started naming her everything he had gotten into just this week; lets see on Monday he chewed up a plastic sword and ate it, then Tuesday morning he somehow got onto the kitchen table and destroyed 6 roses Cody had gotten me, Wednesday he ate a rock, and also got into about 200 hair pins, not sure if he had eaten one. The doctor was like wow, he is quite the dog. She was pretty sure if the rock, or bobby pins were still in his stomach we would need to operate. She estimated the this was going to cost $ 2,000+. I started to cry, because I didn't want to have to pay that kind of money for my dog. He had a fever of 103.5 and was extremely dehydrated. Luckily the x-ray showed no bobby pins or rock. After they put some fluid back in him through a shot we were able to take him home and just watch him and bring him back in the morning.

When we got him home that night he threw up and there was a rock!! He ended up getting better and he is now back to himself:)

Halloween just isn't the same, I miss going trick or treating and getting all that candy. I cant wait until I have kids to take:) This year we went to a Halloween party at one of our friends house. We had a great time and it was fun to see everyone dress up. Cody as a Skyline Football Coach and me as a Skyline Football player.

Im pretty sure if I was a FB player I would have to be the one throwing the ball, because I can not catch a ball to save my life.

YEAH I got a PIANO! It's my mother in laws, who let me borrow it while we are renting the farm house.
