Just for Today

1. Just for today I will be happy.

2. Just for today I will adjust myself to what is, and not try to
adjust everything to my own desires

3. Just for today I will take care of my body, I will exercise it,
nourish it, not abuse it, nor neglect it, so that it will be a perfect
machine for my bidding.

4. Just for today I will strengthen my mind. I will learn something
useful. I will not be a mental loafer. I will read something that
requires mental effort, thought, and concentration.

5. Just for today I will exercise my soul in three ways; I will do a
good turn for somebody and not get caught and do two things I don't
want to do.

6. Just for today I will be agreeable. I will look as well as I can,
act courteously, be liberal with praise, criticize not at all, and not
find fault or try to change anyone.

7. Just for today I will have a schedule. I will be productive and
will eliminate hurry.

8. Just for today I will have a quiet half hour just to myself and relax.

9. Just for today I will not be afraid. I will do things out of my
comfort zone.

-Cody read this to me last night out of one of his books he was reading. Thought it was really good and wanted to share it.

Christmas Break

~Merry Christmas~
Christmas was so fun!! Filled with LOTS of food, games, presents, movies, caroling, laughing, sleeping in, not working., reading, cleaning, family. The only thing that could have made it better would be spending time with my family. I wish I was closer.

Cody and I opening presents on Christmas morning! I cant believe that will be our last Christmas morning w/o kids!!
Cody acting surprised to open this one, Boone had opened it earlier in the week and ruined the surprise:)
YUM!!! Lots and lots of food at Cody's parents house. She makes so much good food and we do a good job at eating it.
Fentons! Codys cousins came for Christmas!
Cutest dog in the world!! (codys sisters dog)
Caroling on Christmas Eve. It was so fun, we are not the most musically talented family. I think we should have practiced!

Favorite quote of the week. Kara's pregnant so we have to stop caroling. or Kara's pregnant so we need to go eat. Karas pregnant we cant do that.
This dog has little man syndrome. He thinks he can take on Kita in tug a war:)
Boone is like a noodle, he just flops when you hold him.
